o links

Type g cc in the address bar and land on the URL the cc link points to. Powered by Chrome's custom search engines — no extension needed.

Set up Chrome

1. Open chrome://settings/searchEngines and click Add next to “Site search”.
2. Name: o links, shortcut: g, URL: https://o-links.streamv.io/%s
3. Done — g + Space, then a slug.

Using Safari or iPhone?

Safari has no custom search engines, so use either of these — both hit the same endpoint:

• Bookmarklet — add a bookmark whose URL is the snippet below (Safari blocks pasting javascript: into the address bar, but a bookmark's Edit → Address field accepts it). Clicking it prompts for a link and goes:

• iOS/macOS Shortcut — in the Shortcuts app: new shortcut → Ask for Input (Text, prompt “go link”) → URL Encode → Open URLs with https://o-links.streamv.io/ followed by the Encoded Text variable. (Shortcuts encodes spaces on its own, but the explicit step is what keeps a ? or # in your input from being read as a query or fragment.) Add it to the home screen or share sheet; Siri can run it by name.

New-tab favorites

/favorites renders every link you can see as a grid of tiles — set it as your browser's new-tab or home page (Safari: set it as the homepage and have new tabs and windows open with it). Click-to-go, alongside the type-to-go paths above.

Extras

• A link URL may embed %s: everything after the slug is URL-encoded into it, so g npm sharp can search npm.
• Links are global, per-team, or per-user; the most specific one visible to you wins. Signed out you get the global ones; signing in makes your personal and team links win over a global link of the same name.

Manage your links

/links lists everything you can see and lets you add, edit, and delete your own — no dashboard required. Visiting a name that doesn't resolve yet offers to claim it.
